Lorenza Square, 21, is charged with unlawful possession of a handgun and hindering apprehension
TRENTON -- A 21-year-old Trenton woman was arrested after police say they saw her toss a gun early Sunday.
Lorenza Square is charged with unlawful possession of a handgun and hindering apprehension.
Street Crime Unit detectives were patrolling the 100 block of Rosemont Avenue around 12:43 a.m. when they saw Square in the area, said Lt. Stephen Varn. When she noticed them, she threw what they believed to be a firearm over a fence, Varn said.
The detectives detained her and, after recovering a loaded handgun, placed her under arrest, Varn said. He said Square also had $700 worth of warrants from Trenton and Hamilton.
