Alexander Dziewa, 55, is charged with making terroristic threats and harassment, among other charges
TRENTON -- A Ewing man is accused of harassing his ex-girlfriend and threatened to burn down her house, police said.
Alexander Dziewa, 55, is charged with making terroristic threats, criminal mischief, lewdness, contempt and harassment.
Police were called to a home for a report of a domestic dispute around 3:05 p.m. Saturday, said Lt. Stephen Varn. The 66-year-old woman told the responding officer that Dziewa, against whom she has a temporary restraining order, was threatening her throughout the day.
Varn said the woman feared for her life after Dziewa banged on her door before running away and left a smoke detector on her property as a warning that he would burn down her house.
Dziewa was found and taken into custody a short distance from his ex-girlfriend's house.
