Florence police, in a Facebook post at about 12 p.m., said the intersection was closed for a crash investigation.
FLORENCE -- A driver was critically injured Tuesday morning when her car and a tractor trailer collided on Route 130 at Delaware Avenue, Florence police said.
The driver, an unidentified female, was taken to a local hospital following the crash, at about 11:30 a.m.
The small, four-door car she was driving was badly crushed in the crash, and the tractor trailer jack-knifed.
Florence police closed the intersection following the crash and did not open it until about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Further details were not immediately available. Florence police said Tuesday afternoon they would issue more information as it becomes available.
