Two men captured on surveillance video may be connected to a stabbing death last week
TRENTON - Police are seeking help in identifying two men wanted for questioning in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 27-year-old last week in Trenton.
Mercer County prosecutors released an image from a surveillance video Wednesday showing two men believed to be connected to the killing of Carlos Leiva-Oviedo on June 14.
They did not elaborate on the nature of the connection between the men and Leiva-Oviedo.
Leiva-Oviedo was found by his car on Hudson Street near the intersection with Genesee Street around 3 a.m., prosecutors said. He was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Hospital, where he was pronounced dead around 7 a.m.
If anyone has an idea of who the two men in the surveillance still might be, they can call the Mercer County Homicide Task Force at (609) 989-6406 or use the confidential Trenton police line at (609) 989-3663.
