The 20-year-old woman has refused to give police her identity
TRENTON -- A 20-year-old Trenton woman who has refused to give police her identity has been charged as "Jane Doe" with criminal mischief.
Officers responded to the 100 block of Fulton Street on a report of an assault in progress around 1 a.m. Tuesday, police Lt. Stephen Varn said.
They had received a description of a white female who had fled from the scene and as they were going to the area, they saw a woman in the area of Beatty and Fulton streets. The woman was detained.
The officers then found the male victim who told them that the woman had thrown a bottle through his window, Varn said.
"Jane Doe" has been charged with criminal mischief, obstructing the administration of law and hindering apprehension.
