The victim, a 53-year-old Hamilton resident, was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton in critical condition.
HAMILTON -- The female driver critically injured Wednesday evening in a collision on Norttingham Way was exiting the Gasco Gas Station in a minivan when she was struck by a pickup driver, police said.
The woman, a 53-year-old Hamilton resident, was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton in critical condition. Her condition was unknown Thursday.
She was freed from her wrecked vehicle by township firefighters.
The woman was struck by an eastbound pickup driven by a 28-year-old man from Howell, in Monmouth County. He was uninjured.
The 6:15 p.m. collision near Donald Drive forced the woman's minivan into a nearby driveway, where it struck a parked car.
Hamilton Officers Keith McDonald, Bryan Wood, and Joseph Pellegrino are investigating the crash with the assistance of Mercer County Prosecutor's Office detectives Tony Abarno and Dave Petelle.
