Isaiah Larry, 26, of Trenton, was arrested following a traffic stop Tuesday
TRENTON -- Police say a traffic stop led to the arrest of a 26-year-old Trenton man on drug charges.
Street Crime detectives had pulled over a car at the intersection of Calhoun and Church streets for a motor vehicle violation at about 11:32 p.m. Tuesday when they saw the passenger bending over to put something on the floor of the car, police Lt. Stephen Varn said.
When they approached the car, they saw that the passenger, later identified as Isaiah Larry, had a pill bottle at his feet with someone else's name on it, Varn said.
The bottle had 33 Xanax pills and 10 decks of heroin, Varn said. Larry also had three outstanding warrants from Trenton and Hamilton and $251 in suspected narcotics proceeds.
His charges include manufacturing, distributing or dispensing CDS, possession of CDS on school property and intent to distribute within 500 feet of a park.
