TRENTON - A Trenton teen was slashed across the face and hospitalized after unknown men attacked him and two women Sunday on Ferry Street, police said.
The 17-year-old boy was no the 400 block of Ferry Street around 3:21 a.m. Sunday with a 28-year-old woman and a 21-year-old woman when the teen was attacked by a group of men. The two women tried to help the teen but one was hit with a metal pole, Lt. Stephen Varn said.
The three called police but all were taken to St. Francis Medical Center before police arrived, Varn said.
The teen was listed in stable condition. It was unclear whether the two women were also cut, Varn said.
It was not immediately known what prompted the attack. No one was arrested. Police continue to investigate, Varn said.
