TRENTON - A knife fight between brothers ended with both hospitalized with cuts and other injuries and one man charged with aggravated assault, police said Monday.
Shane Kiffer, 28, was charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses after he and his 30-year-old brother began fighting Saturday, Lt. Stephen Varn said.
The two began arguing over money and the dispute turned physical, eventually leading the pair to fight over a knife in a house on the 500 block of Deklyn Avenue, Varn said.
Both men were taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton. The 30-year-old man received a cut to the forehead that required several staples. Kiffer received several staples to his shoulder and had a fractured nose, Varn said.
Kiffer's bail was set at $50,000, according to police records.
