Michael Marrone, 30, was charged after a 2-month-old girl was found with a brain bleed, police said
TRENTON - A Trenton man was arrested and charged with child endangerment of a 2-month old girl who was rushed to a Philadelphia hospital with a brain bleed, police said.
The child, a girl, was taken by her mother to an ophthalmologist following an injury that took place sometime before March 14. There, doctors discovered a retinal hemorrhage, Varn said.
The child's mother then took the baby to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where doctors detected a brain bleed, Lt. Stephen Varn said.
Michael Marrone, 30, the child's father was arrested and charged with child endangerment in connection with the child's condition Friday around 6 p.m. at police headquarters following an investigation by Detective Porche Ames, Varn said.
Marrone's bail was set at $50,000, according to police records.
