Justin Rey, was charged last year with sexually assaulting a woman with a television remote control.
TRENTON -- A Trenton man accused last fall sexually assaulting a woman with a television remote control was charged Sunday night with selling drugs on Whittaker Avenue, Trenton police said.
Justin Rey, 22, was charged with several drug dealing crimes and resisting arrest at about 5 p.m. Sunday on Whittaker Avenue, police said.
Police say he was allegedly caught in a street-level drug deal witnessed by officers Crystal Everett and Erik Mancheno.
Rey allegedly ran from the scene, and when the officers caught up to him and detained him, they found 12 decks of heroin, a gram of cocaine and $370 in cash, police said.
Also apprehended was the man Rey was allegedly selling to, James Pressley, 54, of Lawrence, who was charged with drug possession, police said.
Rey was arrested on Nov. 21 and charged with aggravated sexual assault and weapons charges for an alleged attack on a 19-year-old Trenton woman.
Police have said that Rey used a television remote control to sexually assault the woman while she was asleep. The victim was unaware of the attack until seeing a video of it on Facebook, police have said.
In an early December court hearing, a judge maintained his bail at $150,000 bail. It was unclear Monday when Rey was released from custody.
