EWING -- A power outage Monday afternoon has forced the cancelation of Ewing municipal court Monday evening to be cancelled, Ewing police said.
Ewing police said in a Facebook post that a construction crew hit an underground electrical line near Graphics Drive around 3 p.m. causing a power outage in the area.
"(PSE&G) was notified and responded out," Ewing police wrote. "As of right now we do not have an estimated time until power is restored."
The Ewing court at the municipal offices on Jake Garzio Drive was affected by the outage. Police said court officials would reschedule all court dates.
Police said those with a scheduled court hearing for the evening of Feb. 22 would be mailed a notice with their rescheduled date.
