The woman was described by police as around 5-foot-4, wearing a skull cap and a jeans jacket.
HAMILTON - Police say a woman threatened tellers with a note during a robbery at Chase Bank in the Hamilton Marketplace Saturday afternoon.
Officers responded to the bank on 525 Marketplace Boulevard a little after 1 p.m. Saturday after getting a call reporting a bank robbery.
After reviewing footage of the robbery, police said they believe the robber is either a Hispanic or black woman with light skin who was around 5 feet 4 inches tall.
She was wearing a grey skull cap with large sunglasses, a grey hooded sweatshirt and a jean jacket, police said.
Police believe she worked alone.
The woman entered the bank around 1 p.m. and handed a note to a teller that threatened to harm bank employees, according to police, though they don't believe she had a weapon.
The woman then stole money from the bank and fled the area on foot, according to police.
Detectives questioned people in Hamilton Marketplace, which was bustling Saturday afternoon with holiday shoppers, but no one said they saw the woman.
Police continue to investigate the robbery and go over footage.
