Quanmir Spears, 25, Raychon Samuels, 20, Tommy Allen, 21, and Darryl Milton, 21, were arrested and charged in a house on Chestnut Avenue
TRENTON - Four Trenton men were arrested on drug and weapons charges after police found heroin and handguns in an East Ward house, police said Friday.
Quanmir Spears, 25, Raychon Samuels, 20, Tommy Allen, 21, and Darryl Milton, 21, were arrested and charged in a house on Chestnut Avenue Thursday, Lt. Stephen Varn said.
Spears, who had an active warrant, was followed into a house on the first block of Chestnut Avenue by a contingent of law enforcement comprised of U.S. Marshals, Trenton and State Police, Varn said.
Police detectives had originally seized Spears' car as part of an unrelated shooting investigation about a month ago, police said.
The car was later found to have about 90 bricks of heroin hidden inside, and police issued a warrant for Spears' arrest.
Inside the Chestnut Avenue house, police found Samuels, Allen and Milton along with handguns and heroin in plain view and got a search warrant for the house, Varn said.
Police seized 615 bags of heroin, $2,500 in cash, a Chrysler and two handguns from the house, Varn said.
Police also found 100 grams of cocaine in the trunk of one of the cars, police said.
Spears' bail was set at $75,000, Samuels' bail was set at $50,000, Allen's bail was set at $60,000 and Milton's bail was set at $75,000, according to police records.
