TRENTON - Police interrupted a drug deal in a Trenton neighborhood Wednesday, chasing and eventually tackling a man found with a gun and heroin, police said.
Larry Walton, 27, was arrested and charged with drug and gun possession after police saw him making a drug deal on Wood Street around 5:30 p.m., Lt. Stephen Varn said.
Walton tried to run and was tackled by officers, who found 18 bags of heroin, $45 in cash and a semi-automatic handgun on him, Varn said.
Walton's bail was set at $100,000, according to police records.
