TRENTON - A Trenton woman faces assault charges after stabbing two of her house guests on Saturday, police said.
Tyesha Tutt, 29, was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault and weapons possession after she stabbed two people inside her house on the 100 block of Mechanics Avenue shortly after 9 p.m., Lt. James Slack said.
A 22-year-old man was stabbed in the left side of the chest and 44-year-old woman was stabbed in the back after a fight broke out among the three shortly after 9 p.m., Slack said.
It was not immediately clear what sparked the incident, Slack said.
Both victims arrived at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton with minor stab wounds, where they were questioned by police, Slack said.
Police found Tutt at the house, where there were visible signs of a struggle, and arrested her, Slack said.
Tutt's bail was set at $50,000, according to police records.
