TRENTON - A Trenton man was stabbed in the chest during a botched robbery Sunday, police said.
Three black men in their mid-20s approached a 41-year-old man near the intersection of Tyler Street and Hanford Place around 8 p.m. and demanded money, Lt. James Slack said.
It was unclear whether the man struggled with the robbers, Slack said, but he received stab wounds to the upper center of his chest and was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton for treatment.
No money nor property was taken. The incident is under investigation, Slack said.
