A fuse blew at about 5:30 a.m. on the Lakehurst side of the Joint Base, knocking out electricity to three quarters of the base
MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST - A blown fuse is being blamed for knocking out power to most of the Lakehurst portion of the joint base early Tuesday morning, officials said.
A fuse blew at about 5:30 a.m. on the Lakehurst side of the Joint Base, knocking out electricity to three quarters of the base, according to Senior Airman Lauren Pitts, a base spokeswoman.
By 9:20 a.m., electricity to most of the buildings had been restored, Pitts said, and personnel were looking into what caused the fuse to blow.
