LAWRENCE -- A Rider University student was charged with several drug dealing violations after officers found marijuana, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia in his dorm room, police said.
Zachary Goldstine, 18, of the Crosswicks section of Chesterfield Township, was arrested at about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday afternoon in the Kroner residence hall, police said.
Police were called to campus by Rider public safety officers who responded to a report of people possibly using drug behind the dorm. Officers located a Goldstine as he entered his room, Lawrence police said.

After a campus search of the room, Rider officers called Lawrence police, who continued the investigation.
Lawrence police spokesman Detective Lt. Joseph Amodio said police found quantities of marijuana, THC wax, which is also called marijuana wax, as well as 37 sertraline pills, an anti-depressant narcotics marketed as Zoloft, and numerous pieces of drug paraphernalia, including glass pipes, a water pipe and a scale.
Goldstine is charged with possessing marijuana, prescriptions pills, possessing drug paraphernalia and several marijuana distribution charges, including distributing drugs in a public housing or park zone.
