TRENTON - A Trenton teen was charged with robbery and weapons offenses while police search for his accomplice in a botched armed hold-up Tuesday, police said.

One of the gunmen hit the 39-year-old in the head with the butt of a gun and reached into one of his pockets, which was empty. The gunmen then ran away, Varn said.
The 39-year-old man refused medical attention, Varn said.
Police stopped two men near the intersection of Elmer and Whitaker streets shortly after who matched the description of the gunmen. One, a 17-year-old city resident, was positively identified as one of the gunmen, Varn said.
