Jalita Green, 22, was arrested on burglary and criminal mischief charges
TRENTON -- A 22-year-old Trenton woman was arrested after she broke into a house and jumped on top of a car while partially clothed, police said.
Officers found Jalita Green jumping up and down on top of a car parked on the 500 block of Roebling Avenue around 4:20 p.m. Wednesday, said Lt. Stephen Varn.
She got down from the car when ordered to do by police, but then proceeded to rip off the passenger side mirror, Varn said. The car's roof and windshield were also damaged, Varn said.
Before damaging the car, Varn said Green broke into the house of a woman and began destroying items.
Neither the woman nor the owner of the car appeared to know Green, Varn said.
Green was taken into custody on burglary and criminal mischief charges. She was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center for treatment and evaluation, Varn said.
