Police were still looking for a suspect in the shooting Saturday afternoon
TRENTON - An early morning shooting outside of a Trenton bar sent one man to the hospital Saturday, police said.
Police were still looking for a suspect in the shooting Saturday afternoon.
The victim, a 24-year-old man, told police he was leaving the Diamond in the Rough bar on the 500 block of Lamberton Street with multiple people when he heard gunfire around 1:45 a.m., police said. The man told officers he looked down and saw he had been shot in the arm but he could not give a description of the shooter.
Police responded to the scene Saturday morning and found the man with a gunshot wound to his arm that went "through and through," police said. He was rushed to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition Saturday afternoon.
Investigators discovered a shell casing and blood splatter at the scene but had not identified a suspect by Saturday afternoon.
