TRENTON -- A Bordentown man is facing drug charges after police busted him dealing in downtown Trenton Tuesday.
Michael Hightower, 41, was charged with possession and intent to distribute.
Street Crime Unit detectives were turning onto North Broad Street from East State Street around 3:30 p.m. when they saw an alleged drug deal between two men, later identified as Hightower and 30-year-old Isaiah Gore, of Trenton, said Lt. Rolando Ramos.
Gore was seen trying to give money to Hightower. When the duo saw police, they ended up walking away from each other but were both detained, Ramos said.
Hightower was found to have several pill bottles in his pockets with 160 oxycodone pills, 157 Xanax pills, 10 Percocet pills and 54 Suboxone pills. Police also confiscated $1,946 in cash as suspected drug proceeds.
Gore was arrested on six warrants totaling $1,500.
