Authorities executed a search warrant at the home Wednesday and arrested Bayshawn Brown, 36.
TRENTON -- A two-month investigation of alleged drug sales from a Monmouth Street home led to one arrest and police seizing a firearm and quantities of cocaine and marijuana, Trenton police said.
Authorities executed a search warrant at the home Wednesday morning in the 300 block of the street and arrested Bayshawn Brown, 36.
Police said officers from the Violent Crimes / Warrant unit found a 9-millimeter gun equipped with a large-capacity magazine, police said. Officers also confiscated 10 grams of crack and a minor amount of marijuana.
Brown is charged with numerous drug possession and distribution charges, as well as firearm possession charges - including possessing a weapon as a convicted felon.
Lt. Rolando Ramos and Sgt. Anthony Manzo led the investigation.
State records show Broan, who also used the name Gerald B. Brown, has prior felony convictions in 2010 and 2008, in which he was sentenced to a state prison term each time.
Brown was initally held on $150,000 bail Wednesday.
