Two 19-year-olds and a 17-year-old boy were in the stolen Chevy Tahoe

TRENTON -- Two 19-year-olds are facing charges after they were caught driving a truck that had been stolen from Lower Makefield, Pa., police said.

Shaquille Gonzalez and Marquarn McQuitta were charged with receiving stolen property.

Lower Makefield police said the Chevy Tahoe was reported stolen around 9:45 a.m. Friday from a house on the 1200 block of Birch Avenue.

OnStar tracked the truck into Trenton and an officer who was patrolling in the area of Market and Stockton streets was alerted to it by a dispatcher, said Lt. Stephen Varn. The officer continued toward Hudson and Elmer streets, eventually pulling over the truck on Elmer Street and Chestnut Avenue.

Gonzalez, McQuitta and a 17-year-old boy were all ordered out of the car, Varn said. McQuitta was also charged with possession of marijuana.

Lower Makefield police have not yet filed charges against Gonzalez and McQuitta, but the investigation remains open, Capt. Robert Lewis said. He did not know whether the truck had been unlocked.
