A witness said he heard three or four gunshots early this morning.
TRENTON -- The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office has identified the two men killed at a gas station in an overnight shooting on Sunday.
Prosecutors say the two homicide victims are 21-year-old Kordrese Robinson and 16-year-old Jahday Twisdale -- both of Trenton.
A third individual who was wounded during the shooting has been identified as a 19-year-old Trenton resident.
Prosecutors described his wounds as non-fatal.
A witness who works at a different gas station across the street said he heard three or four gunshots early this morning.
"I don't know what happened," Francis Kollison said. "I was inside -- all I heard was boom! boom! boom!"
The shooting occurred at the intersection of Greenwood Avenue and Chambers Street at about 3:15 a.m, police have said.
The two victims were pronounced dead at the scene, Trenton police spokesman Lt. Stephen Varn has said.
Officers then learned that a wounded 19-year-old victim had been admitted to the nearby the St. Francis Medical Center, only blocks away.
Detectives, police and firemen left the scene around 9 a.m.
Trenton police and the Mercer County Homicide Task Force are investigating the incident. No arrests or other information has been made public.
