Michael Hernandez, 30, faces a robbery charge
TRENTON -- A Trenton man is charged with robbing a woman of her cell phone and $4,000 in cash after she was knocked unconscious.
Michael Hernandez, 30, faces a robbery charge in connection with the Aug. 20 incident.
The woman, 23, was inside a Butler Avenue home around 11 p.m. with a group of friends when she was struck in the back of her head, said Lt. Stephen Varn.
When she regained consciousness, her phone and about $4,000 were missing, Varn said. Police found enough probable cause to charge Hernandez with the robbery. He was arrested Friday by the Violent Crimes and Warrant units.
