Drayton Carter, 49, was charged with aggravated assault
TRENTON -- A Willingboro man is facing charges he threw a woman into a store window after she declined to have sex with him, police said.
Drayton Carter, 49, was charged with aggravated assault.
Officers were flagged down by the 36-year-old Trenton woman, who was severely bleeding from her back, on the 1000 block of South Broad Street around 8:32 p.m., said Capt. Donald Fillinger.
She told police she was standing on South Broad Street when a man, later identified as Carter, approached her and asked her to have sex with him. When she declined, Carter became angry and shoved her through the store's glass window before fleeing, Fillinger said.
Carter was arrested and the woman was taken to a hospital, where she was treated and released.
