HAMILTON -- Three people were injured in a crash that sent one car down an embankment Thursday afternoon.

A 2000 Honda Odyssey being driven by Talib D. Siplin, 18, of Trenton, was traveling southbound on Justice Samuel Alito Way around 4:20 p.m. when he collided with a 2012 BMW X5 that was traveling westbound on Kuser Road, police said.

The  collision caused the BMW to leave the road, flip onto its side and slide down an embankment.

Siplin and the driver and passenger of the BMW -- 33-year-old Kenith DeLeon, of Trenton, and 29-year-old Wanda Hernandez, of Hamilton, respectively -- were taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton for their injuries, police said.

Siplin and Hernandez are in stable condition and DeLeon has since been discharged.

The crash remains under investigation by Officer Keith McDonald and any witnesses are asked to contact the Hamilton Police Traffic Unit at 609-581-4024. Information can also be left anonymously on the tip hotline at 609-581-4008.
