Antonio "Tony" Nini's last words were posted on his Facebook page.

NORTH HANOVER -- Antonio "Tony" Nini knew he was dying and made a lot of preparations at the end of his life to spare his family as much pain as possible when he passed.

"That's the kind of guy he was," says daughter Jessica Nini Tuccillo.

They also knew he was writing something in the past few weeks, and said his final wishes would be on his phone, she said.

The longtime Trenton-area resident -- who worked as a disc jockey early in life and then as a financial advisor --  died from cancer Tuesday at the age of 56.

Nini was writing a book, tentatively titled "Here for a Reason," but he also left behind a "final letter" he asked to be posted on his Facebook page after he passed away.

The family did so at 11:38 a.m.

It starts out: "Oh well, if you're reading this, I am now in the Lord's hands in heaven having an espresso!..."

For 12 succinct paragraphs Nini eulogizes himself, says goodbye to his loved ones and gives a shout out to the doctors and nurses who cared for him.

And he addresses cancer: "Please don't think I lost to cancer. Cancer may have taken my physical abilities, but it didn't take my love, hope, the joy I have for you, and how proud I am of you," he wrote.

"It wasn't a "battle" it was just part of life, which is often brutally random and unfair, but that's simply how it goes sometimes. I didn't lose...hell, for all those years, the way I fought and lived with cancer, I consider it a big victory."

The post has been shared over 1,700 times and had almost 900 comments on Friday afternoon.

Nini's funeral is tomorrow, and he addresses that in the letter too.

"When you come to my funeral, have a blast and run up a bar tab that would make me proud. Hey, while you're at it, play "My Way" by Frank Sinatra on the sound system," he wrote.

"Celebrate the beauty of life with a kickass party because you all know how much I loved to have fun...and dance, dance with all your body, heart, and soul."
