A second man was charged with receiving stolen property
TRENTON -- Police arrested a Hamilton man on charges that he robbed a man at knifepoint early Friday.
The man, 36, told police he was sitting on his porch on the 300 block of Hamilton Avenue around 1 a.m. when two men approached him, said Lt. Stephen Varn. One of them, later identified as 23-year-old Mark Henderson, pulled out a knife.
The men took his cash, phone and wallet before fleeing -- one on foot and one on bike, Varn said. Officers converged on the area and found two men.
Henderson was charged with robbery and weapons charges. The second man, Joshua Dennis, 20, of Trenton, was charged with receiving stolen property after police saw him toss the victim's cell phone as they approached him.
The investigation remains ongoing, Varn said.
