Police described him as a black male, 35 to 45 years old, 5-feet 9-inches to 6-feet tall with a medium build and a mustache.

TRENTON -- The police department on Friday made public a photo of the man they say robbed the Bank of America branch on Hamilton Avenue Thursday morning.

The picture, taken from the bank's security cameras, shows the man at the teller counter inside the bank during the 10:30 a.m. holdup.

He wears a multi-color knit cap, white t-shirt, and has dreadlocks. Police further described him as a black male, 35 to 45 years old, 5-feet 9-inches to 6-feet tall with a medium build and a mustache.

The robber slid a note to a teller demanding cash. He was last seen on foot outside the bank, police said.

Police in Trenton and Lawrence say the robber bears a resemblance to the man who robbed a Santander bank branch on Franklin Corner Road in Lawrence last week.

Lawrence bank robbed by man wearing hat

Lawrence police said Friday they have discussed their case with Trenton detectives, but no official links have been made between the two hold-ups.

In the Lawrence crime, which occurred at about 12 p.m. on Aug. 3, the man demanded money and fled the branch on foot toward Stonicker Drive and then got into a dark-colored vehicle.

In a surveillance photo made public by police, the man wears a dark t-shirt, dark green hat and dark glasses, and bushy hair protrudes from under the hat.
