BORDENTOWN -- The search for a man who vanished while swimming in the Delaware River Sunday will resume Monday morning, State Police said.

The man jumped off a boat around 7 a.m. to take a swim and never resurfaced, authorities said on Sunday.

He went missing near the Bordentown Yacht Club.

The U.S. Coast Guard and divers from the State Police searched the river until early evening but couldn't locate the man, Sgt. First Class Gregory Williams said Monday morning.

A State Police helicopter and a Trenton Fire Department boat also took part in the search.
