A man suspected of assault with an aluminum bat and an armed robbery suspect were apprehended.

TRENTON -- Police arrested two suspects Thursday who were wanted for violent attacks this year.

William Hill, 57, was wanted for the February 8 bludgeoning of two people inside a pharmacy on the 200 block of East State Street.

Police say Hill entered the pharmacy and begin striking a woman in the head with an aluminum baseball bat until she collapsed to the floor.

Hill then began arguing with a man whom he chased to the back of the store and beat even after the victim fell to ground, police said.

The suspect then fled the pharmacy in a nearby vehicle, officials said.

Both victims were taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where they were treated and released, police said.

Police are unsure of the motive for the beatings.

Taj Foxworth, 19, was apprehended on suspicion of armed robbery that took place on Monday near the basketball courts in Cadwalader Park in the West Ward.

Police say that Foxworth was in the park around 9:30 p.m. when he put handgun to the chest of a park goer and instructed the individual to "give it up."

Foxworth then took the victim's wallet and backpack and punched the victim, police said.

Foxworth was familiar to the victim, police said.
