Oscar Valdez was arrested after his wife called police when he entered her bedroom through the window, police said.
TRENTON -- A Trenton man is facing burglary and theft charges after police say he snuck into his estranged wife's bedroom window and ran off with her cell phone early Tuesday, police said.
Police responded to the 200 block of Jersey Street at 2:30 a.m. after a 39-year-old woman called and reported her husband, Oscar Valdez, 34, snuck into her bedroom window, police spokesman Lt. Stephen Varn said.
Valdez allegedly opened the bedroom window and climbed inside, Varn said.
When he entered the room, he and his wife got into an argument, the woman called police, and Valdez ran off with her cell phone.
Officers found Valdez on the corner of Beatty Street and Deklyn Avenue at 4 a.m. and arrested him, Varn said. Police recovered the woman's cell phone.
