Wednesday is the last day of school
HOPEWELL BOROUGH -- Hopewell Elementary School was evacuated Wednesday after someone reported smelling a gas odor, a school official said.
The school was emptied shortly before noon as police and firefighters responded.
Wednesday is the last day of school and students were scheduled to be dismissed at 12:45 p.m.
