TRENTON - A Trenton man who threw a brick through a discount retailer's window and stole $10 in toilet paper is facing burglary charges, police said.
Sammie Major, 49, was arrested about an hour after police viewed surveillance video showing him throwing a brick through the front window of the Dollar Value store on South Broad Street around 11 p.m. Thursday, Lt. Christopher Doyle said.
The video showed Major entering the store, putting items into a basket and leaving, Doyle said.
Officers found Major in the neighborhood shortly after 12 a.m., where he was arrested and charged with burglary and theft, Doyle said.
The owner of the store was able to determine that about $10 in Scott's brand toilet paper was missing, Doyle said.
