Hamilton police investigating burglaries at 4 businesses

Killarney's Publick House, Bagels & Beyond, Anthony's Pizza Palace and Sabrina's Pizza are the victims.

HAMILTON -- Detectives are investigating break-ins or smash-and-grabs at four businesses recently, police said.

At Killarney's Publick House on Whitehorse-Mercerville Road, someone smashed through a rear door and stole cash from the tavern, police said. The crime was discovered early Monday morning.

Attempted break-ins were discovered Sunday morning at Bagels & Beyond in the 4000 block of South Broad Street and Anthony's Pizza Palace in the 2700 block of the street. 

At the bagel shop, a window was broken open and at the pizza place, a side entry door broken. Nothing was reported stolen at either location, police said.

And on June 5, cash was stolen at Sabrina's Pizza in the 1600 block of South Olden Avenue by someone who gained entry by breaking a window in a door, police said.
