Yvonne Harding has been charged with a DWI after she crossed into oncoming traffic on Bear Tavern Road, crashing into a Ewing resident's car.
EWING -- A Hamilton woman was charged with drunken driving after crossing into oncoming traffic and colliding with another vehicle on Bear Tavern Road Monday evening, police said.
Police said they responded to the 7 p.m. crash and found Yvonne Harding's Jeep overturned.
Harding, 56, was driving north on Bear Tavern Road when she crossed over the double-yellow lines and collided with a 29-year-old Ewing woman's car, police said.
Both drivers were taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton for non life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police said the crash occurred near Cardinal Drive and the two cars impacted each other on the front passenger sides.
Harding was later charged with drunken driving. Police did not make public the other driver's name.
