A woman reported a man peered beneath a Carnegie Center public restroom stall.
WEST WINDSOR -- Police are investigating an incident in which a man peered at a woman in a bathroom stall at the Carnegie Center.
The incident occurred Thursday, but the victim did not report it until Friday, police said.
The victim told police she entered a community bathroom in one of the buildings and heard sounds coming from one of the stalls.
The woman entered an unoccupied stall and noticed a pair of gray sneakers in the stall next to her.
A short time later, the woman said, a man's face appeared beneath the stall. The victim screamed and the man suspect left the bathroom, police said.
West Windsor police said the woman gave a detailed description of the man: he's white or Hispanic, in his mid 40s with greasy large pores, dark hair with a grown-out crew cut and had dark beady eyes. He wore old gray athletic sneakers with matching wide laces and dark navy pants.
Police are investigating the incident as an invasion of privacy.
