Police found a handgun with a high-capacity magazine in a car being driven aggressively
TRENTON - Three Trenton men were charged with weapons possession after a loaded gun was found in their car, police said Friday.
Davay Lyman, 24, Emmanuel Gbahn, 24 and Kaysani George, 24, each were charged with weapons offenses and possession of a high-capacity magazine after a gun was found in their car when police stopped the trio on Dunham Street around 11:21 p.m. Thursday, Lt. Stephen Varn said.
Police saw George, the driver, driving aggressively on Calhoun and Bellevue and stopped the trio. Lyman and Gbahn tried to get out of the car during the traffic stop. They were immediately detained, Varn said.
Police investigated further and found the loaded gun in the car, Varn said.
George also was charged with careless driving, having a suspended driver's license, improper safety glass. Lyman was also charged with four outstanding warrants. No bail information for the trio was immediately available, according to police records.
