The man was pronounced dead at the scene
TRENTON -- Authorities are investigating a suspicious death after the body of a man was found on a Trenton sidewalk early Wednesday morning.
Dispatchers received a call at 3:04 a.m. for an unresponsive man in the area of South Clinton Avenue and Hudson Street, police Lt. Stephen Varn said.
Police and Trenton EMS arrived to find the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Varn said the circumstances surrounding the death appear suspicious, but it has not yet been ruled a homicide.
There was no information immediately available on the victim, he said. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force is investigating.
