They are expected to survive.
TRENTON -- Two men were shot early Sunday outside a Trenton night club, police said.
Police in the parking lot of the Rho Waterfront night club heard gunfire and saw muzzle flashes at the back of the lot at about 1:22 a.m., Trenton Police Lt. Stephen Varn said.
They saw a man run and get into a vehicle with four other men. Several officers converged on the vehicle.
Police found a handgun on the floor of the vehicle, Varn said. The five men were arrested and charged with weapon possession.
They are: Tahir Davis, 26; Jamil Thomas, 24; Rezair Moore, 27; Michael Register, 29; and Quashon Austell, 26. They are all Trenton residents.
Two 21-year-old Trenton men were shot, Varn said. They were sent to Capital Health Regional Medical Center and are expected to survive their wounds.
Police are still investigating who was responsible for the shooting, Varn said. The shooting seems to have stemmed from an altercation inside the club.
Rho Waterfront hosted a concert Saturday night featuring DJ B-Nice, DJ Wallah and Milly Rock. A manager at the club declined to comment on the shooting.
