A 24-year-old male employee was robbed of cash at gunpoint while he sat in the station's booth at about 5 a.m. April 19. Watch video

EWING -- Police have released surveillance footage of a man robbing an Exxon on Pennington Road earlier this month and are asking the public for help identifying the bandit.

A 24-year-old male was robbed of cash at gunpoint while he sat in the station's booth at about 5 a.m. April 19, police said.

The robber fled on foot after the hold-up.

Officers searched the area around the station in the 1500 block of Pennington Road, but did not find anything.

He's described as a black male, 6-feet tall who wore a gray zip-up sweatshirt with white squares on the sleeves, black pants, white sneakers and a black mask.

Police said the time stamp on the video is not accurate.

Anyone with information about the robbery of the perpetrator can contact Ewing police Detective Bob Litz at 609-882-1313 ext. 7595 or the Ewing police tipline at 609-882-7530.
