ALLENTOWN -- A father and three sons were arrested on drug and firearms charges at their Hamilton Street home recently during the execution of a search warrant, police said.
Frederick A. Bush, 50, and sons Frederick A. Bush II, 18, John-Michael Bush, 21, and Desmond Bush, 23, were arrested during the April 7 raid on their home, Allentown police said.
A fifth person, a juvenile who was not identified, was also arrested during the operation.
The elder Bush is charged with three counts of possession of a firearm by a felon for three weapons. State court records show Bush has a felony conviction from 2008 for obstructing law.
John-Michael Bush is charged with possession of an assault firearm, possession of a high-capacity magazine, possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Frederick A. Bush II is charged with possession of marijuana over 50 grams, possession of cocaine and possession with intent to distribute the drugs.
Desmond Bush is charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia and released on his own recognizance.
The juvenile is charged with possession of marijuana over 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Frederick Bush, Frederick Bush II and John-Michael Bush remained at the Monmouth County jail in Freehold Township in lieu of bail Wednesday.
The investigation was initiated due to an unrelated, prior matter at the residence, police said. Allentown Patrolman Nicholas Dell'Acqua is the lead investigator.
