Eliot Santos got into an argument, took a butcher knife from the kitchen and began swinging it at several people, police said
TRENTON - A Trenton man was arrested after swinging a butcher knife at a group of people, injuring one, police said Monday.
Eliot Santos, 36, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and weapons charges on the 400 block of South Logan Avenue around 10:50 p.m. Saturday, Lt. Stephen Varn said.
Police were called to South Logan Avenue on a report of a man with a knife to find several people gathered around a house on the 400 block. Police saw Santos run out of the house with a butcher knife in his hand, Varn said.
Santos had arrived at the house somtime earlier and was in an argument with several people inside regarding his child. Santos then ran into the kitchen, pulled out the butcher knife and began swinging it at several people inside the house, Varn said.
No one was serious injured, Varn said.
Bail for Santos was set at $50,000, according to police records.
