HAMILTON - A Robbinsville man was arrested and charged with the sexual assault of a Trenton woman, police said Thursday.
Eric G. Ford, 32, was arrested Tuesday and charged with aggravated sexual assault and weapons offenses following an investigation by Hamilton police, Mercer County Prosecutor's office and Trenton police, Capt. James Stevens said.
Ford assaulted the woman on the 400 block of Woolsey Street in the area of Lady of Lourdes cemetery between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. March 15. The woman reported the incident to Trenton police on March 16, thinking she was in Trenton at the time of the attack. Trenton police contacted detectives in Hamilton, Stevens said.
Ford's bail was set at $300,000, Stevens said.
