A Rider student and another teen charged with criminal mischief to 29 cars
LAWRENCE - A Rider student and another teen were arrested and charged after causing $15,000 in damage to 29 parked cars on campus, police said Wednesday.
William Bartus, 19, of East Amwell, and Eugene Eskow, also 19, of Flemington, damaged 29 vehicles on the Rider campus on Feb. 18, police said.
Bartus is a a sophomore at the college. Eskow is not a student, according to The Rider News.
Vehicles had their side mirrors broken and were dented, police said.
Campus and Lawrence police identified a Ford pickup truck that was driven by Bartus and Eskow and the pair was later charged with criminal mischief to 29 vehicles, police said.
