Police were called to the Caribbean Mart in the 1700 block of East State Street at about 12:30 p.m. Monday for a reported robbery.

Officers learned from an employee that a customer had returned with a cigar he bought 15 minutes prior to complain that it was broken.

During a dispute over getting new cigar or his money back, the customer went behind the counter, shoved the employee to the floor and grabbed cash from the register, police said.

The customer-turned-robber also grabbed a handful of Black & Mild cigars too, police said.
