ROBBINSVILLE - A Robbinsville pair was arrested and charged with when police found 50 MDMA tablets during an emergency call, police said Tuesday.
Police responded to a 9-1-1 call around 3:30 a.m. Sunday at an apartment in The Lofts, on the 2300 block of Route 33, Lt. Mike Polaski said.
Inside, police saw evidence of narcotics, Polaski said. He was not more specific.
A man in the apartment complained of dizziness but refused medical treatment, Polaski said.
Police obtained a search warrant and searched the apartment around 8 a.m., finding 50 tablets of MDMA and a small amount of marijuana, Polaski said.
Ahmed Abdelazim, 23, and Michael Cyrlie, 23, each were charged with possession and distribution of MDMA offenses, possession of drug paraphernalia and minor marijuana possession, according to police records.
Cash bail for Abdelazim and Cyrlie was set at $125,000, according to police records.
